Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026.

This policy explains what Morgan Branch the Broker collects, how that information is used, and the choices you have across the Protection Assessment, the secure Quote Overview, the optional Financial Floor add-on, and the payment and scheduling that support them. It does not describe unrelated third-party sites.

1. Protection Assessment

When you complete the Protection Assessment and submit your result, we collect your first name, last name, and email address; your selected age band and the answers you chose (all from fixed options — the assessment does not collect free-text about your finances); your acknowledgment of the educational nature of the assessment; and your separate, optional marketing choice.

We use this to prepare and show your preliminary protection direction — a general, educational starting point determined by your answers — and an automated written summary that helps explain it, and to follow up about a protection conversation you request.

To create the automated summary, our system sends a minimized set of your assessment information server-side to an AI model provider (OpenAI). The summary is generated by our own server-side process; it is not routed through a third-party workflow automation service.

Your email address and last name are not sent to the automated summary-generation step. Only your first name and selected assessment answers are used to write the summary.

The result is an automated, preliminary protection direction and educational summary. It is not a quote, policy illustration, coverage calculation, underwriting decision, eligibility decision, approval, or final recommendation. Any actual coverage is subject to the insurer's underwriting, policy terms, availability, and applicable law.

2. Quote Requests and Quote Overview

If you request a quote, we collect the details needed to prepare it and to deliver your secure Quote Overview — for example your name, email, the coverage you want to explore, and your confirmation of residency. A date of birth, if provided for a quote, is encrypted and is not shown back in the internal system. Your Quote Overview and any carrier document are delivered through a private, verified session; access requires the secure link and an emailed one-time code.

3. Financial Floor Add-On

If you add the optional Financial Floor money-clarity service, it may handle:

4. Payments and Scheduling

The $67 Financial Floor payment is collected by our payment processor, Stripe, on Stripe's secure hosted page. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code; we keep only non-sensitive payment status and internal reference identifiers. Stripe's handling of your payment information is described in Stripe's privacy notice at stripe.com/privacy.

Scheduling (and self-service rescheduling from your confirmation email) uses your appointment details and the email connected to your Quote Overview.

5. Secure Document Requests (Insurance Application Support)

When Morgan needs documents to support a specific service, we send a generic secure email with a link to a private document page. The page verifies your email with a one-time code before it displays what was requested, and you provide only the items Morgan requested there — never by email or text.

For Insurance Application Support, the items you choose to provide may include restricted identity and application documents — for example a government-issued photo ID, a Social Security card, payment-account proof, and other carrier-required supporting documents. These materials are handled with heightened protection: each upload is scanned for malware and file-type safety, routed to a separate, access-restricted private vault (the insurance-application vault has its own dedicated encryption key), encrypted at rest, and reachable by Morgan only through a deliberate, short-lived, access-controlled download. Our records hold only opaque file references — never the document content, file names, or identity or account numbers — and document content never appears in timelines, emails, logs, analytics, payment records, or URLs.

Application-support materials are used only to help with the insurance application you asked Morgan to support. They are not used for Financial Floor processing, for any model or automated analysis, for analytics, or in payment records, and they are never sent as email attachments. Coverage Review and the Financial Floor never request or accept a Social Security number or Social Security card. An insurance application supported through this process does not guarantee coverage, eligibility, pricing, approval, or issuance, which are determined by the carrier.

How we use information

We use information to deliver the requested service, confirm payment and scheduling, provide support, maintain required business and accounting records, protect private services, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information. We do not place statement content, transaction detail, Financial Floor materials, application-support documents, or sensitive financial or identity information in payment records, URLs, marketing systems, or advertising analytics.

6. Service Providers and Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that operate these services, so they can perform those functions on our behalf, and where required by law. These include:

7. Security, Retention, and Deletion Requests

We use access controls and encryption designed to protect sensitive information. Access to Financial Floor materials is limited to Morgan and service providers that need it to operate the service.

Information is retained only as needed to provide the service and to maintain business, accounting, security, dispute, and legal records, and is then deleted or deidentified when appropriate. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing info@morganbranch.co. A deletion request may not remove information that must be retained for the purposes above, or information still held in routine backups for their scheduled lifecycle.

Optional marketing email is separate and unchecked by default; you only receive it if you affirmatively opt in, and you can opt out at any time.

8. Essential Cookies and Private Sessions

We use essential cookies or similar technologies to secure your private Quote Overview, payment, and scheduling sessions — for example to keep a verified session active and to protect these flows. These are required for the secure services to work and are not used for advertising.
